Marlena Ivanović graduated from the Political Sciences Faculty of the Vienna State University, and previously she completed the gymnasium „Slobodan Škerović“ in Podgorica. During her studies, she attended various seminars and workshops on the themes such as the Austrian political system, European integration, and the Western Balkan. Also, she volunteered as an environmental protection activist within the Mother Earth Protection campaign in Vienna. Her previous work experience includes work with the Ghbrzal Gmbhh foreign trade company in Vienna as assistant manager and administrative assistant. Through the CCE’s internal trainings, where she previously volunteered, she improved her skills in the areas of event organization, implementation of the tender procedure, free access to information, use of WordPress, project proposal writing, and communication of projects financed from EU funds. As a representative of the CCE, she was an observer during the presidential elections in Montenegro in 2023 in Podgorica. She is fluent in German and English and has a knowledge of Italian and Spanish.
