announce a
PUBLIC CALL
for a workshop on civic education and human rights
intended for high school students from Bar, Podgorica, and Pljevlja
Centre for Civic Education (CCE), Human Rights Action (HRA), and ANIMA invite all interested high school students from Bar, Podgorica, and Pljevlja to apply for participation in interactive workshops on civic education and human rights.
These four-hour workshops offer young people the opportunity to gain knowledge about the basics of human rights, democratic values, and the importance of active citizenship through work with experienced lecturers. The workshops will be conducted through discussions, practical exercises, and simulations to further encourage engagement and peer exchange of ideas.
Workshop dates and locations:
- 13 May – Bar
- 15 May – Pljevlja
- 28 May – Podgorica
The number of participants per city is limited to 30, so make sure to apply quickly!
All interested high school students from the listed cities are eligible, regardless of the school or grade they attend.
To apply it is only necessary to fill out a form with basic information.
The application deadline is 7 May 2025 at midnight.
Selected participants will be informed about the workshop details.
The project “Enhancing Civic and Human Rights Education: Educational Reforms for a Stronger Democracy” is implemented by CCE, HRA, and ANIMA as part of the programme “Strengthening Citizens’ Trust in Institutions and Building Resilient Communities”, carried out by UNDP, UNICEF, and UNESCO in cooperation with the Government of Montenegro. The project is funded by the UN Peacebuilding Fund.
