CALL
for participation in the
DIGITAL RIGHTS LAB FOR YOUTH
If you are between 18 and 30 years and want to gain skills to protect rights in the digital space, where young people spend most of their time, then the Digital Rights Lab for Youth is the right choice for you, because during the three-day programme you will gain a deeper understanding of digital rights and the challenges we face, but also learn how to actively use them for personal and social development.
The training will be held from 17 to 19 October 2025, in the North or South of Montenegro.
What can you get?
- You will learn about key concepts – freedom of expression, privacy, data protection, right to information, cyberbullying and hate speech.
- You will improve your digital literacy and learn how to recognize, adequately react to, and report rights violations in the online
- You will develop skills for advocating and protecting digital rights, with encouragement to critically assess online information and engage effectively, offering creative solutions.
- You will acquire knowledge and tools for using modern technologies for digital and democratic activism.
The programme includes an interactive approach combining short introductory lectures followed by workshops, group work, simulations, and open discussions.

The Youth Digital Rights Lab is free of charge for selected participants, which means that the costs of accommodation, travel, meals, teaching, and other programme-related activities are covered by CCE, within the project “Protection of Rights and Promotion of Digital Citizenship – Montenegrin Digital Shield (MDS)”, implemented by the CCE in partnership with the SHARE Foundation from Serbia, and in cooperation with the Agency for Audiovisual Media Services (AMU), with the financial support of the European Union and co-financing by the Ministry for Regional-Investment Development and Cooperation with NGOs.
Detailed information about the programme will be provided to those invited to the Digital Rights Lab for Youth, after the selection process, based on the evaluation of applications.
