CALL

for participants of the 27th Generation of the

HUMAN RIGHTS SCHOOL

If you are a high school student who wants to learn about human rights and contribute to building an equal society, expand and exchange experiences with peers, and develop skills for active participation in promoting the modern concept of human rights in your school and community, then the Human Rights School is the right opportunity for you!

The aim of the Human Rights School is to provide a thorough understanding of the concept of human rights and the values of gender equality through a combination of theoretical and creative-practical work. The programme will address topics such as the culture of human rights, sexist and misogynistic speech, gender-based violence (with a focus on digital violence), the identification and analysis of sexism, discrimination, and hate speech in advertising, films, music, and television, all to help participants better recognize these phenomena and the mechanisms for protection in both online and offline spaces.

The final segment will involve creating an informational and educational campaign for social media, with mentorship, focusing on issues of gender-based violence, sexism, misogyny, and hate speech. Participants will also receive support after completing the programme to conduct peer education on one of the topics related to gender equality in their schools, helping them share the knowledge gained from this programme.
