The overall objective of the project is to improve public awareness of transitional justice, dealing with the legacy of conflict and promoting reconciliation in Montenegro by inducing the introduction of these topics into the formal education system.
The specific objectives of the project are a deeper understanding of young people and teaching staff about transitional justice, the legacy of war events and the importance of reconciliation, as well as a greater level of awareness of war crimes and their consequences among the general public.
The project was supported through the regional project Support of the EU to Trust-Building in the Western Balkans, funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
