H.E Gabriele Meucci is the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Montenegro. After graduating at the Faculty of Law in Milan he started diplomatic career within the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before he was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy in Montenegro he performed various diplomatic duties including being Vice-consul and later on the first Secretary within the Italian Consulate in Split. From 2001 till 2003 he worked in Italian Embassy in Tirana as the First Secretary and then the Councilor for trade issues. Also, from 2003 to 2004 he worked within the Directorate General for Europe and during 2004 within the Cabinet of the Italian Prime Minister – Office for Cooperation with Parliament. In 2002 he was awarded with medal Cavaliere dell’Ordine al Merito della Republica.
