Call for participants of the Youth Activism School
Centre for Civic Education (CCE)
is publicizing CALL for participants of
THE YOUTH ACTIVISM SCHOOL
If you are a high school student and you want to improve your speaking and presentation skills, learn more about your rights and the rights of marginalized groups, network with your peers, and gain knowledge and skills on how to influence changes that will respond to the needs of young people in your community – then you are a candidate for the Youth Activism School!
The goal of the Youth Activism School is to build the capacity of young people in order to position themselves as active citizens who contribute to social changes and the promotion of human rights in Montenegro.
The Youth Activism School is a two-day programme that provides students the opportunity to learn about youth activism, advocacy, human rights and protection mechanisms, the importance of accepting marginalized/vulnerable groups, and environmental protection, but also develops public speaking skills, all so that they can design their own initiatives that will respond to the challenges that young people face.
Who can apply for the Youth Activism School?
Regular high school students from the entire territory of Montenegro.
How to apply for the Youth Activism School?
By filling out the application and sending it to the e-mail address info@cgo-cce.org, with the subject “For the Youth Activism School”.
The deadline for sending applications is 15 January 2023 until 00:00.
The Youth Activism School is free of charge for selected participants, which means that the costs related to the programme are covered by the CCE. For participants from the South the programme will be organised in Kotor and for participants from Northern region in Bijelo Polje.
The Youth Activism School is organized within the project “Youth for the Youth!”, which the CCE implements with the financial support of the Embassy of the United States of America in Podgorica.
Detailed information about the programne will be given to those candidates who will be invited to the Youth Activism School after the selection process, based on the evaluation of applications.
