The aim of this training is to further strengthen the representatives of the civil sector in the part of informing about the mechanisms provided by the Free Access to Information Law, as well as in facilitating the use of these mechanisms in their work.
A two-day training will be organized for 15 representatives of the civil sector on 13 and 14 June 2024 in Podgorica.
During the training, the participants will have the opportunity to gain new knowledge about the procedure of free access to information, as well as about the responsibilities of the institutions subject to this Law. In an interactive manner, it will be explained the process of submitting requests for free access to information, along with types of information that can be requested through this channel, some of the basic obstacles in the procedures of seeking requesting information of public interest, and ways to use the obtained information to monitor the work of public sector bodies and public policies.
