Webinars on War Crimes in Montenegro
Centre for Civic Education (CCE) invites all interested individuals to apply for a series of seven webinars that will provide expert-guided discussions on war crimes for which criminal proceedings in Montenegro have been finally concluded: Štrpci, Bukovica, Deportation, Morinj Camp, the Klapuh family, Kaluđerski Laz, and Zmajević.

The aim of the webinars is to provide the interested public with access to accurate and verified information and facts on war crimes, through the analysis of court judgments, relevant evidence, testimonies, and the role of institutions.
The focus will be on the legal, social, and political aspects of transitional justice, the role of judicial institutions in prosecuting war crimes, institutional responsibility, as well as media reporting on these cases, with the goal of contributing to the fight against disinformation and historical revisionism.
Webinars Schedule:

The topics of individual webinars will be announced at a later stage. The webinars will be led by legal experts, historians, and representatives of civil society, with opportunities for interactive participation through discussion.
Interested participants may apply by completing the online application form via the provided link.
Following the application process, selected participants will receive the access link to the webinars in a timely manner.
The webinar series represents a practical extension of the manual “War Crimes of the 1990s in the Judgments of the Montenegrin Judiciary”, enabling more in-depth analysis and discussion of court rulings.
