Milena Vujović is completing her master’s studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Montenegro. She is currently preparing a master’s thesis defense on “Challenges of the development of democratic political culture in post-referendum Montenegro“. Her focus is democratization and civil society building in Montenegro, which she will address in planned research during her doctoral studies at the Central European University in Vienna. She attended numerous trainings, including NYM (NATO YOUTH MODEL) simulation in Montenegro in 2013 in the organisation of the Public Policy Institute from Serbia, NATO Public Policy Department and Visegrad Fund, as well as other programmes in the field of security. Moreover, she completed Human Rights School organised by the Law Faculty of the University Donja Gorica with the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University in Belgrade, and additionally she specialised through seminars on Euro-Atlanticism in the organisation of the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University in Belgrade, as well as EU law through the Centre for European Perspectives. Also, she took part in programmes related to youth activism in the organisation of CEDEM and youth employment in the organisation of the Career Centre of the University of Montenegro. She received the Student Award of the University of Montenegro for the best students of the generation 2014 and the award of the Capital City for the success achieved during her studies in 2016. She was engaged at the Centre for Studies and Quality Control and in the NGO KOD on various projects funded by international foundations. Fluent in English, with knowledge of Spanish and Italian.
