Representatives of Centre for Civic Education (CCE) and Human Resources Management Authority have signed the Memorandum on cooperation for the implementation of activities within the project “Knowledge and skills for jobs”. Project objective is to contribute to the improvement of employability and status of unemployed graduates on labour market in Montenegro.
“Cooperation between civic sector and state administration is very important in order to tackle the challenges of our society, such as the unemployment of university graduates. Through the inter-sector cooperation and creation of new and efficient solutions in this area, we could improve the overall economic development of society, as well as the effectiveness of state administration”, stated signatories after the signing of Memorandum.
The Memorandum was signed by the Executive director of CCE Daliborka Uljarević and the Director of Human Resources Management Authority Svetlana Vuković.
In addition to consultative role of Human Resources Management Authority, the cooperation on this project will also include the support of this institution in the provision of working practice in state administration institutions for 20 selected candidates, which makes a third of all participants on the project.
A total of 60 unemployed university graduates from across Montenegro will have the opportunity to firstly attend the programme of informal training through project “Knowledge and skills for jobs” and thus acquire the necessary skills, and then apply the same through three-month long paid practice in public sector, NGO sector, private companies and media.
Young people from entire Montenegro who graduated but are not employed can apply for this programme. Application deadline is 15 March 2017, and every interested candidate can apply by submitting the application form which can be found on the site of CCE: https://cgo-cce.org.
Project “Knowledge and skills for jobs” is implemented by CCE in cooperation with agency Represent Communications and Human Resources Management Authority, and it is financed by European Union in Montenegro, through the Directorate for the Financing and Contracting of EU Assistance Funds (CFCU) of Ministry of Finances.
