If you are a high school student and want to study in a multicultural environment and actively contribute to strengthening the understanding of the concept and practice of interculturality, develop contacts with peers from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds – then the Intercultural Camp is the right program for you!
The objective of the Intercultural Camp is to empower and network young people from different parts of Montenegro to become active promoters of tolerance through the development of their intercultural knowledge and skills.
The intercultural camp offers high school students the opportunity to learn about acceptance and tolerance, the consequences of radicalization, tolerant communication skills and the importance of respecting diversity regardless of personal characteristics, but also how to actively advocate the modern concept of human rights. The work will be organized through interactive methods, which includes short introductory lectures followed by workshops, group work, forum theaters, film screenings, debates, simulations and open discussions.

Regular high schools students from the territory of entire Montenegro.
How to apply for the Intercultural Camp?
Interested candidates can apply by sending a completed application and a motivation letter to the e-mail info@cgo-cce.org, with the subject “For Intercultural Camp”.
The deadline for sending applications is 19 February 2024 until midnight.
Intercultural Camp is free of charge for selected participants, meaning that expenses of accommodation, travel, food, organisation of lectures and other activities related to the programme are covered by the Centre for Civic Education (CCE).
The intercultural camp will be held from 26 to 28 February at the SeaFort Hotel in Sutomore.
The intercultural camp is organized through the project “With education to a multicultural society”, supported by the Fund for the Protection and Realization of Minority Rights.
Detail information about the programme will be sent to candidates who are invited to the Intercultural Camp upon the selection process, based on the evaluation of applications and motivation letters.
