Nikola Đurašević, Programme Associate

Nikola Đurašević graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Donja Gorica, where he is currently completing his master’s studies in International Relations. He completed the regional Democracy School, organized by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), the Center for International Relations in Banja Luka, and the Center for International Studies in Zagreb, as well as the Regional School of Political Philosophy Dr. Zoran Đinđić, organized by the Dr. Zoran Đinđić Foundation and the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Belgrade. During the 2023 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, he participated as an accredited observer for the CCE. Furthermore, he finished the youth capacity-building programme as part of the CCE’s project YouthJobLink – Linking Youth and Social Enterprises, supported by the Directorate for Financing and Contracting of EU Assistance Funds (CFCU) of the Ministry of Finance of Montenegro. Through CCE’s internal trainings, he advanced his skills in event organization, conducting tender procedures, free access to information, using WordPress, project proposal writing, communication for EU-funded projects, and basics in Albanian language. He participated in numerous seminars and conferences in Montenegro, the region, and EU countries. He contributed as an associate in the development of publications such as Unlocking Digital Potential – Analysis of E-Government in Montenegro and The Gender Pulse of Media in the Election Campaign – Media Monitoring of the 2023 Parliamentary Elections in Montenegro with a Focus on Gender Perspective. He is the co-author of the publication Political Theatre at the Expense of Citizens and the author of Multiculturalism in Focus. Fluent in English, with knowledge also of the Italian language.
