for the participants of three two-day training sessions on multiculturalism for young people

Centre for Civic Education (CCE) organizes three two-day trainings on multiculturalism for high school students from Montenegro. Trainings will be organized in Bijelo Polje, Podgorica and Kotor for young people from these and neighboring municipalities.

The aim of these trainings is to strengthen intercultural competences among young people in order to improve the understanding and acceptance of different cultures, traditions and identities, that is, the acquisition of communication, cooperation and non-violent conflict resolution skills in a multicultural environment. Also, the skills of active engagement of young people in advocating the value of interculturalism in the school, peer group and wider local community will be strengthened, thereby contributing to shaping an inclusive and tolerant society.

Who can apply for the training sessions on multiculturalism for young people?

Regular students of all secondary schools in Montenegro.

How and by when to register for training on multiculturalism for young people?

Interested candidates can apply by sending a completed application and motivation letter to info@cgo-cce.org with the indication “For training on multiculturalism”. The deadline for submitting applications is 28 January 2024.

After the training sessions, the most active participants will have the opportunity to be part of the debate competition, and for the winners of the competition prizes are provided.

Trainings for young people on multiculturalism are organized within the project “Bridges of Multiculturalism through Museum Education”, which is implemented by the CCE with the financial support of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights.
