Centre for Civic Education (CCE), within the programme “CSOs in Montenegro – from Basic Services to Policy Shaping – M’BASE,” organized a series of three trainings in February aimed at strengthening the capacities of organizations whose projects are supported through the fifth call of this programme.
A total of 26 selected representatives of organizations whose projects are supported had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge in implementing projects funded by EU funds.
During the first two-day training held on 22 and 23 February 2024, in Podgorica, participants had the chance to learn more about project management from lecturers Milena Brajović and Petar Đukanović, with a focus on project planning and implementation, financial management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Furthermore, during the second training segment, lecturer Damir Nikočević provided advice on communication planning, creating a communication plan, increasing the visibility of EU-funded projects, and conducting advocacy campaigns. In the final training session held on 28 February 2024, lecturer Dina Bajramspahić worked with participants on the concept of public policies, their monitoring and impact assessment, as well as writing policy proposals.
The program “CSOs in Montenegro – from Basic Services to Policy Shaping – M’BASE” is implemented by CCE, in partnership with the German Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES), the NGO Center for the Protection and Research of Birds of Montenegro (CZIP), and the NGO Politikon Network, in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and the Ministry of European Affairs of the Government of Montenegro. The project is funded by the European Union, co-financed by the Ministry of Public Administration.
