92 NGOs and over 250 prominent citizens of Montenegro have supported the Initiative for Montenegro to sponsor a UN Resolution on memorializing the victims of Srebrenica

The initiative for Montenegro to sponsor a UN Resolution on memorializing genocide in Srebrenica was supported by 92 NGOs and over 250 prominent citizens.

The initiative has also been supported by the Bosniak Council, as well as the Bosniak Party, Liberal Party, Democratic Party of Socialists, Social Democratic Party of Montenegro, Social Democrats of Montenegro, the coalition of Albanian Alliance and Montenegrin European Party.

The Mayor of Cetinje, Nikola Đurašković, responded to the invitation of the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karić, and supported the adoption of the UN Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica.

We call on Prime Minister Milojko Spajić to urgently clarify the Government’s position on our initiative and announce whether it is abandoning the state’s stance on the strongest condemnation of the genocide in Srebrenica?!
