Centre for Civic Education (CCE) opens the Call for all students
III media literacy forum and internship
Media literacy forum offers a wide spectrum of theoretical and practical knowledge on media literacy, with a focus on social media and disclosure of fake news. During the three days of the intensive and dynamic programme, a group of 20 selected students will have the opportunity to learn from international and domestic experts about the concept and importance of media literacy, the role of the media in society, reporting and investigation techniques, modalities of verifying information, digital and legal responsibility.
Media Literacy Forum will be held on 16, 17 and 18 November (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Podgorica, and all the costs will be covered by the organizer.
For successful attendance of the Forum, the participants will receive diplomas and the CCE will additionally, based on the assessment of dedication, work and motivation demonstrated by the students, select five participants and offer them three months-long paid internship in non-governmental organisations and media, which also include expert mentor support.
The Call is open for students of all faculties and universities in Montenegro, but those with a track record in social activism and intention to use the acquired knowledge in affirmation of digital and media literacy will have the advantage.

All applicants will be notified about the outcome of the Call, regardless if they are enrolled or not.
III Media Literacy Forum and paid three-month internship are organized within the project “Media for Me!”, implemented by the CCE with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway and the Balkan Trust for Democracy funded by German Marshall Fund of the United States (BTD).
