Centre for Civic Education (CCE) and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Montenegro handed over today a donation, consisted of a laptop computer and a projector of the latest generation, to the Public Institution Mixed Secondary School “Bratstvo and jedinstvo” in Ulcinj.
CCE Advisor, Miloš Vukanović, expressed hope that this donation would make it possible to overcome the limitations created by the challenges of online teaching. “Although the donation is not great, I hope that it will help the teaching staff in the implementation of modern teaching methods and enabling pupils to have a more interesting form of learning” he stated. Vukanović called on other social factors to follow the example of the CCE through continuous contributions to the quality and interactivity of teaching.
“On behalf of PI Secondary Mixed School “Bratstvo – Jedinstvo” we thank for the donation, which will be useful for the teachers in our school and improve our educational work. We are glad that the civil sector recognizes through its activities the need to support educational institutions in this manner as well, and we are looking forward to future cooperation”, said Ardita Kovačević, the director of the school, while receiving the donation.
At the ceremony of handing the donation, Azra Urbitsch, a representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany was also present.
This activity is a part of the project Teaching history in COVID 19 pandemic – equal opportunity for all, aiming to provide Montenegrin history teachers with adequate methodologies and teaching tools, as well as training that will enable them to meet the learning objectives set by the national curriculum.
