Ideas, questions, discussions, and specific clarifications regarding the call aimed at strengthening youth-focused initiatives, accompanied by significant interest from civil society organizations (CSOs), marked today’s information sessions held at the European House in Bijelo Polje and at the premises of the Centre for Civic Education (CCE) in Podgorica. The sessions were organized within the framework of the programme “SYNERGY Montenegro – Strengthening Youth Networks and Empowering Resilient Groups and Young People.”
During the meetings, representatives of civil society organizations were presented with key information on the second call for project proposals, including the objectives and priorities of the call, thematic areas, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and evaluation criteria.

A total of 40 representatives of civil society organizations attended the info sessions, of whom 20 in Bijelo Polje and 11 in Podgorica. The interest and active participation of attendees contributed to a substantive exchange of information, including discussions on the rules of the call and practical aspects of the application process. Participants had the opportunity to receive additional clarifications, exchange experiences, and ask questions related to the call documentation.
A particular focus of the sessions was placed on empowering smaller and local civil society organizations, with the aim of ensuring equal access to information, as well as greater involvement of various stakeholders in processes contributing to community development and the improvement of the position of young people and vulnerable groups.

The programme “SYNERGY Montenegro – Strengthening Youth Networks and Empowering Resilient Groups and Young People in Montenegro” is implemented by the Centre for Civic Education (CCE), in partnership with the German foundation Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and the NGO Multimedia Montenegro, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth, with financial support from the European Union and co-financing by the Ministry of Regional Investment Development and Cooperation with Non-Governmental Organizations.
